Treatment Programs
Referral Process
The referral process begins with initial inquiries regarding program services and bed availability made by the legal guardian, probation officer, or behavioral health network representative. Inquiries will receive a rapid response, which will generally be followed by the scheduling of a no-cost assessment. Internal discussions amongst agency personnel will then occur to assist in making a final determination regarding program acceptance.
Following a determination of acceptance, an intake appointment will be scheduled for the youth’s admission to Youth Development Institute. In the case that a bed within the appropriate program is not available at the time of acceptance, the youth will be added to our internal waiting list until an admission can be scheduled.
Mental Health and Substance Use Block Grant Services

MHBG funding may be available for eligible children with a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). SUBG funding may be available for eligible individuals with a substance use disorder.
