Requirements for employment
All candidates for employment must either possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof of eligibility within three days of hire. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and have the ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the positions. Applicants must be 21 years of age.
Youth Development Institute (YDI) offers a generous benefits packet to eligible employees working at least 24-hours per week. Benefits are effective on the first of the month following 60-days of employment.

As a Behavioral Health facility that cares for youth and adolescents, all positions at Youth Development Institute are considered safety sensitive positions as defined in Arizona Revised Statute 23-493.
