Requirements for employment

All candidates for employment must either possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof of eligibility within three days of hire. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and have the ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the positions.

Benefits

Youth Development Institute (YDI) offers a generous benefits packet to eligible employees working at least 24-hours per week. Benefits are effective on the first of the month following 60-days of employment.

YDI has a full benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, short term disability, long term disability, a basic life insurance plan, voluntary life, an EAP program, and a retirement plan.

YDI offers 7-paid holidays, the employee’s birthday, vacation and sick days to eligible employees. The company provides a 403b retirement plan to qualified employees who are at least 21 years old with company matching.

Drug Free Environment

As a Behavioral Health facility that cares for children and adolescents, all positions at Youth Development Institute are considered safety sensitive positions as defined in Arizona Revised Statute 23-439. Therefore, the company prohibits the use, sale, manufacture, distribution or possession of alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, medical marijuana, or drug paraphernalia on any and all segments of the company premises, company owned vehicles, or personal vehicles used for company business or parked on company property. YDI is a drug free zone with zero tolerance for violators.
